For the first time ever, the Oak Table Network is organizing a two day training event on the Thursday and Friday (September 16th and 17th, 2010) just before Oracle OpenWorld, in Ann Arbor, Michigan (not far from the University of Michigan). The details are still being finalized, so for right now here are the basics:Seating will be limited to a maximum of 300 people. Oak Table Network members from around the world will attend and provide the training sessions. Sessions will be provided that will appeal to DBAs and developers. MOTS is not intended as a money making event. As such, the cost for attending the event has been set as low as possible to essentially "break-even". Standard registration of $600 per person ends July 31, 2010. Late registration after July 31 is $750 per person. These prices do not include room hotel costs (roughly $100 per night), but will include a high quality buffet lunch.
